Greetings. My name is Michael Aubrecht and I am an author and historian from Fredericksburg, VA. My studies have been mainly in the Civil War era for the last 10 years and I have published 6 books and co-produced a documentary on the era. I have, in recent months, left the CW-era and now focus all of my studies and writing efforts on the Founding Fathers and the Revolution. I recently penned a piece on race and remembrance at Monticello for Patriots of the American Revolution, a speech on Mary Ball Washington to present at the VA Farm Bureau Women’s Conference, and I am currently researching materials for a piece on Col. George Washington and the VA Militia’s time in western PA. I have known Ben and Eric for a while and we have collaborated before. I am very much looking forward to chatting with what looks to be a stellar board of knowledgeable and enthusiastic individuals. Please feel free to visit my blog at: www.pinstripepress.net/PPBlog.

Welcome aboard, Michael.  We're happy to have you here.

Enjoy your time.  We don't have as much traffic as I'd like, but we do have some pretty good discussions here.
